1. Who We Are
Aeverce operates Kare ("Kare", "we", "us", "our") and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Privacy contact: contact@aeverce.com
2. Information We Process
To provide Kare, we process information associated with your account authentication (such as Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In), including your email address, display name, profile image, and account identifier. We also process the name you choose during onboarding, your subscription or entitlement status, app and installation security identifiers, language preference, and limited technical information needed to keep the service secure and working.
Kare records limited first-party usage and onboarding events, together with timestamps and relevant option indexes or identifiers. Examples include onboarding progress, challenge selection, commitment completion, paywall views, and authentication completion. We use this operational data to understand whether the app works as intended, improve the user experience, and prevent abuse. It is not used for third-party advertising.
3. Challenge Data and Photos
Challenge data is stored securely in Kare's cloud service so it can be shown on your account across your devices. This may include your selected challenge, daily task completions, custom task names, hydration entries, streak and progress data, optional weight entries and notes, and optional proof or progress photos.
Photos are stored privately and are returned only after an authenticated request from your own Kare account. They are not public posts, are not visible to other users, and are not sold or used for advertising.
4. Why We Use Your Information
We use this information to authenticate you, provide and personalize your challenge, save and synchronize your progress, operate reminders, verify paid access, monitor reliability, improve Kare, prevent fraud and abuse, support account deletion requests, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Service Providers and Sharing
We use trusted third-party providers necessary to run Kare, including Google and Apple for authentication, the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for subscription billing and processing, and trusted providers for cloud hosting, database storage, and operational security. These providers may process information only as needed to perform their services for us.
Kare does not store full payment card details or banking credentials. In-app purchases are securely handled by Google Play or Apple directly. We do not share your private challenge content with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. Information may only be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to investigate fraud and abuse.
6. Device Permissions and Local Data
Kare requires Internet access to sync your account, challenge progress, and subscription services. It may ask for permission to:
- Notifications: To send you reminders for your daily habits and routine check-ins.
- Camera & Photo Library: For optional proof photos or progress pictures that you choose to attach to your challenges.
Granting these permissions is optional and you can modify or revoke them at any time in your device's settings (iOS or Android), although some associated features may then become unavailable.
Kare does not request access to your contacts, geographic location, microphone, or background physical activity data. Private app databases, local preferences, and authentication tokens are kept secure on your device.
7. Retention and Account Deletion
We retain account and challenge information for as long as needed to operate Kare, respond to your requests, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
You can easily delete your account directly inside the Kare app (under Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing us at contact@aeverce.com. Upon deletion, your personal account data, challenge progress, and private photos are permanently erased from our active databases, subject only to required legal, fraud-prevention, or financial record-keeping obligations.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, or other regional regulations), you have rights to access, review, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, or to request a portable copy of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@aeverce.com.
9. Children's Privacy
Kare is not intended for children under 13, or below the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under this age.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including industry-standard SSL/TLS encrypted connections, secure storage, and strict authentication access controls for all private challenge data.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect improvements to Kare, changes in data practices, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
